I just got home tonight from a few days in Vancouver. I had a great time. I saw Janine a lot which was so sweet because I miss her a lot. It's weird seeing her in her own place and having a whole life but I'm really proud of her too. She's doing so well and it's so obviously not easy. Some of the people she's living with seem pretty hard to deal with.

I didn't get to visit Emily Carr which was kind of a disappointment, but we had so many other things to do that it just didn't fit. We took my camera to a good repair shop and he told me that it's going to be a lot of repairs on it. Which is to be expected considering it's 17 years old. It's one of the best cameras that Nikon has ever made, though, and I really don't want to have to part with it. I'm supposed to phone in 2 days to get the estimate and such. I'm a bit worried.

I got a few things I needed for my Nicaragua trip and looked at some water filters and things. Man, those things are getting high-tech. at Mountain Equipment Co-op they've got filters that even get rid of viruses! That's quite the filter.

I saw Marilise on Thursday and slept over again! That was so great! I missed her bunches. We walked around Langely and took some buses. I got to see her house that she is moving into which was fun. She seems excited, even with the tid bit of badness about moving from a place that you have so many memories in. We went shopping too, went to a neat-o little coffee shop with one too many scene kids. We had a quick stop at Value Village and then wandered through the mall. We watched movies and chatted and just had a good old fashioned fun time haha. I'm glad it worked out, now I can go till May hehe.

AND THEN! for the freaking best part! The Taste of freaking Chaos last night! That was by far the greatest show I have ever been to. The starting bands were good but holy eff nothing came near to how great The Used and My Chemical were. I couldn't believe it. It was just awesome. I mean, Bert was always a sex machine, but MAN he's sexy. He likes to talk about sex too. I want to have sex with him. hahah. I've seriously never had that much energy and I've never screamed and sang that much in my life. Man, best time ever, seriously. I'm so glad I went.

The drive back was fun too. Rob, Robbie and I went together and had a blast even with the horrible weather on the highway. I'm kind of glad to be home. I'm tired. I also kind of wish that concert could have gone on forever. meh.
